Santa Fly-In and Winter Light Show
In the week before Christmas, you’ll have multiple opportunities to watch Santa fly in via helicopter right at the Palm Springs Air Museum. This is a wonderful spectacle and is sure to impress people of all ages that want to get into the Christmas spirit. This happens right around or after sundown, and the kids will be able to get pictures with Santa in addition to receiving a special gift for the occasion. Once the landing meet and greet has finished, Santa will open up the museum to reveal a wonderfully assembled display of lights for everyone to walk through and enjoy. This event will run every day from December 18th – December 22nd, and prices will be posted on their website closer to opening day.
Christmas With the Crawfords
Happening on multiple dates throughout the month of December, the Desert Rose Playhouse will be putting on live performances of Christmas With the Crawfords. This is a fairly long running performance about the golden age of Hollywood, and you can expect to see actors parodying famous movie stars and singing all of your favorite Christmas tunes. The performance runs right around 90 minutes, so it makes for a great activity to spend one of your afternoons on.
Paws ‘N Claus
If you’ve brought the family pet along with you for the holidays, you’ll be able to bring them along to this dog friendly meet and greet with Santa. Why not get that perfect extra picture to display at home while you’re also letting the kids meet the big man himself for the holiday? Do keep in mind that this event is only open for attendance with a prior reservation, so if you’re planning on making it your afternoon activity then be sure to book in advance.
Sounds of the Season – A Holiday Jazz Brunch
If you enjoy live music with a Christmas twist, you’ll definitely want to grab tickets to this spectacular brunch. You’ll be able to catch a variety of different musicians performing all of your favorite Christmas songs with a jazzy twist, and the head chef at the location will be putting together a four-course meal for you to enjoy during the performance. You’ll love the lively and friendly atmosphere, and if you’re feeling up to it, they’ll also have plenty of Bloody Marys and mimosas to keep brunch going. Additionally, they’ll also be offering up appropriately seasonal spiced wine and cider, so enjoy the variety of choices!
