This remarkable estate welcomes guests through a private gated courtyard with a tranquil water feature leading to the custom 9ft glass entry doors. Walk into the open concept great room featuring a modern stacked stone fireplace that reaches from floor to ceiling with a large HDTV, fireplace, elegant design and awe-inspiring mountain views that are highlighted by the indoor/outdoor living space created by the disappearing glass wall. Looking to wind down after a long day of golf? Enjoy cocktails and conversations at the fully-equipped wet bar with a wine fridge and barstools just off the living room.
This luxurious desert lifestyle continues as you enter the fully-equipped and remodeled chef’s kitchen. The stainless-steel appliances, double oven and oversized center island offers the perfect space for everyone to help create an amazing meal together, or to gather around socializing while sharing appetizers. There are ample seating options as well between the wrap-around breakfast bar, casual kitchen table and formal dining area with an elegant chandelier seats eight guests.
While the interior of Villa Lago is beautifully appointed, the grounds are perfectly maintained and feature striking views of the purple mountains in the distance. The large, private pool features a raised hot tub and sleek infinity edge overlooking the serene lake. There are plenty of lounge chairs and sofa seating to enjoy the view or share a glass of wine. After another amazing day in the California Desert, grill up some steaks at the built-in BBQ island and enjoy your meal al fresco at the outdoor dining table that seamlessly opens to the main living area of the home.
There are four suites throughout Villa Lago plus a separate media room that can double as a private office space with room for a Queen Size Air Mattress upon request. With nearly 5,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor living space, there are endless possibilities to make great memories here at Villa Lago.
The Primary Suite features a king bed adorned with premium bedding, stone fireplace, and large sliding doors that open directly to the backyard. The ensuite bath is quite lavish, with a soaking tub, double vanity, walk in closet and ample space. Guest Bedroom 2 features a queen bed, en suite bath and direct access to the courtyard. Guest bedroom 3 features a queen bed, TV and en suite bath The detached casita provides a couple with a private retreat of their own. Walk into the open bungalow and you’ll find a king bed, flat screen tv, desk, ensuite bath and kitchenette. There’s also a private outdoor sitting area to read a book or enjoy your morning coffee.
There is space available for up to 5 cars total between the driveway and garage. Street parking is not permitted. Oversized vehicles not permitted.
We want you to feel confident when renting a TRAVLR Vacation Home. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our Guests’ and Employees' health and safety. Currently, we spend between 4-16 working hours to clean each rental property after every reservation and have enhanced our check-out cleaning procedures to pay close attention to all details, specifically disinfecting all surfaces with anti-bacterial solutions. We frequently change all HVAC filters and clean pools twice weekly to help ensure optimal cleanliness as well. Our vendors and staff are equipped with protective gear such as face masks and gloves to maintain the safety of all parties.

Close distance to the Empire Polo Fields for all the equestrian activities and Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals; minutes from the La Quinta Resort, Indian Wells Tennis Garden, Old Town La Quinta, and all the La Quinta golf courses. Highway 111 is down the street, with Costco, Target, Coffee Bean, and Starbucks, among many other chains and local favorites. Less than 10 minutes form I-10, you can quickly head to Palm Springs, nearby casinos and other Coachella Valley destinations.

WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK OUT?
Check in is after 3PM local time, and check out is no later than 11AM. Early check in and late check out may be available for your reservation upon request. Please reach out for the cost and availability.
WILL I NEED TO MEET THE PROPERTY MANAGER TO GET A KEY?
All TRAVLR Vacation Homes have keyless locks. This keyless system allows entry into the vacation rental through the issue of a “code” rather than a physical key. The code changes for every reservation so it is an incredibly safe alternative. By issuing the code prior to arrival, the check-in process is much easier.
DO YOU PROVIDE DAILY CLEANING SERVICE?
TRAVLR Vacation Homes provides a departure clean on all stays. A mid-week or mid-stay clean can be provided for an additional fee.
CAN WE HAVE THE POOL HEATED?
Your reservation "resort fee" includes the cost of pool heat (up to 80-82 degrees). This fee is not included on Airbnb bookings.
WHAT IS PROVIDED WITH MY ACCOMMODATIONS?
All of our vacation rentals are furnished and have a kitchen with amenities including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and blender. Each property is stocked with cooking and serving items including plates, bowls and utensils, as well as a can opener, corkscrew measuring spoons and more. The coffee maker takes ground coffee and we also offer a spice rack, salt and pepper.
There are bath towels, pool towels and bed linens. We also provide an initial supply of trash liners, toilet paper, hand soap and dishwasher soap. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner and liquid body wash. Laundry facilities are also equipped with laundry soap and dryer sheets.
CAN I SHIP A PACKAGE TO MY VACATION HOME?
We do not recommend shipping directly to the home, we do not have mailbox keys, and there are many different people with access to the home: vendors, housekeeping, Guest Services staff, etc... so we cannot be responsible for packages once delivered.
DO YOUR HOMES HAVE OUTDOOR MUSIC SYSTEMS?
TRAVLR Vacation Homes does not permit any amplified music outdoors at any time (day or night), including, but not limited to cell phones, bluetooth speakers, or outdoor TV’s. This includes any amplified sound indoors that can be heard outside. City fines start at $1,000 and are strictly enforced.

"We had a change in the number of guests last minute and Jen was very accommodating. When we arrived to the property her instructions made it very easy to get inside. The house was very welcoming and clean. Temperature was perfect for how hot it was that day and the soft music playing in the house was calming upon entering. We did have a plumbing problem our first night but Jen made sure a plumber arrived the following morning to rectify the issue. We were out in the pool while the plumber was working so it was no bother. She sent us a nice delivery for the small inconvenience. Overall our family had a wonderful time and we would highly recommend staying at this beautiful house with great views of the lake and mountains beyond."

"A beautiful open plan house in pristine condition with infinity pool and gorgeous view of the mountains. Contained in the PGA West gated community, the house and casita were perfect for my multi-generational family. The pool and expansive patio have a multitude of seating arrangements along with an outdoor dining table. Misters offer relief during the hot desert afternoon. The house itself is nicely furnished, large, clean, and has all the necessities needed in the kitchen. Separate cooling for different areas of the house allowed everyone to be comfortable.The neighborhood is private but friendly. La Quinta is a bit remote but convenient to multiple golf courses, the Living Zoo and Joshua Tree National Park.Highly recommend."

We were visited by a swan and a raccoon! The only negative was not being able to play any music outside (we would have kept it low). There was a lot of noise from landscapers cutting down palm fronds on Friday and Saturday. I understand this needs to be done, but music would have been a lot less invasive. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed our stay, and our relaxed celebration."

"This place is as great as you are hoping it is. More beautiful than the photos. More comfortable than you've had an Airbnb be in the past. My family and I stayed NINE nights, so I should know! We used Instacart to stock the kitchen in the first few days. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you'll need, it's not the fanciest pots but it works and they all have lids. The massive island in the kitchen is a real feature, giving you plenty of space to spread out, cook, hang out and eat. The sunken bar is a really nice feature, I don't think we used it to its fullest but it's really classy. The most obvious feature of the house is its massive great room. You can see it in the photos, but it allows people to gather in multiple spaces while still feeling like you are "together". Many of the houses in the complex don't even have a pool, let alone a pool with a lounging deck as nice as this one, complete with a TV in the outdoor cooking space. The signs and instructions were very clear they do NOT want amplified music outside, so we kept it quiet. The next door neighbor was doing quite a bit of yardwork, but we just went inside when it was noisy. The swan visited us many times and became the subject of many memorable photos. She even got in the pool with us!! Be careful though: swans bite! The master bedroom is the size of my first house. Unreal... and I slept in every morning despite being a very picky sleeper. Super comfy bed and bedding. And you can make the room really dark mid-day and watch movies if that's your thing. The master bath has one of the best showers I've ever been in. The floor in there is really slick, I wouldn't want my elderly parents in there with their feet wet, but we made it work. My only regret is I never got in the gigantic inset tub. The garage is massive, so plenty of space for you and your party to park. You cannot use the golf cart, but that's ok. We're not golfers so it wasn't an issue. We did work with the owner to bring in a caterer/private chef, which was a really nice way to make an event out of the holiday. The owners have on-site property management that offered housekeeping, brought us additional dishwasher soap pellets and and came by with a pie for Thanksgiving. All in all, it was a very memorable and luxurious family vacation. A special way to connect and make memories with the people we love."

"This house is a dream and the ultimate desert oasis. Jen was great to work with and very responsive with any and all questions. The home is beautifully designed, only to be surpassed by the views from the infinity pool. My friends and I had a wonderful weekend enjoying the pool, grilling in the backyard and enjoying all the amenities of the house. Jen also offers a concierge service that come to house prior to your arrival and receive any Instacart orders - highly recommend this service and I was blown away with how they beautifully arranged the fridge and pantry."

"My husband, 5 year old son and I had a wonderful time at this house! The infinity pool is amazing, and the house decor is chic and tranquil. The living area is spacious - the master bedroom is in its own wing! The casita has all the amenities of a deluxe hotel room. The detail that stood out the most was the quick responsiveness of the management team. We had a few small issues (loose faucet handle and a wobbly towel rod in a bathroom). A handyman was dispatched to perform repairs within hours. The biggest win: when we realized the television in the "family room" didn't have access to Hulu/Netflix etc and asked if that was possible to fix, an Amazon Firestick was ordered and connected the next day! We would love to stay there again."

We cooked almost every meal at the house and the kitchen was a dream to cook in, large with all the necessary tools, serving dishes and appliances. Jen was extremely responsive throughout our stay and we always felt well supported. Looking forward to future visits at this beautiful property."

“Wow! First of all Villa Lago is an incredible house. We had several different families arrive together to celebrate the holidays, the house was perfect for entertaining. Everyone had their privacy, and the shared spaces were so immense that everyone had space. Great kitchen which i used 3 times a day (I'm a chef) the pool and jacuzzi extremely nice. Extra clean all the spaces. The inset bar was the center of the celebration. There is a resident Swan that lives on the lake named “West”. Expect frequent greetings! Great place for family and small children.”

"We had a group of 8 travel to La Quinta to celebrate my husband’s birthday. When we arrived at the property, it was even better than displayed in the pictures. Easy to access, management was very attentive (to questions - we had no issues), and the house was beautiful. We even canceled dinner reservations to cook out and stay by the pool. Would recommend this house to anyone!"

Our family of 5 rented this property June 2019 and we were blown away by the home and scenery surrounding the home. It definitely had the “Wow” factor upon entry. The decorating was our estetic 100% and it was so very well equipped. The pool area has lots of seating and shaded areas to get away from the intense sun. The beds were comfortable and the sheets soft and luxurious. Everything about this house oozed luxury. We will definitely be back. Robert from the Management company was a pleasure to deal with and checked in with us to make sure everything was satisfactory and that we were comfortable. If you are looking for a luxurious home this one will not disappoint. The house was spotless even the BBQ was super clean. Only negative was that we had to leave at the end of our vacation.

"I had a BEYOND wonderful stay at Villa Lago. I was on a work trip and had a few business meetings near the Empire polo grounds and this location worked perfect as its so close by. From the moment I entered the property I was blown away by how beautiful and spacious it was. It is stylish and has a great contemporary modern feeling throughout the home. The home was everything I needed and more. The beds are large and very comfy, rooms are private and lots of common space for guest. Highlight was the huge infinity pool overlooking the gorgeous view, I enjoyed some beautiful La Quinta sunrises and sunsets from the patio. Jen was an excellent host, she went above and beyond to make sure I was having a great stay while in Villa Lago. My experience was nothing short of luxurious and I plan to book with Travlr again for my upcoming family retreat this summer in the desert. Thanks for being such a great Superhost Jen!"
