The brand-new kitchen has waterfall island seating, stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with all the essentials to entertain family and friends.
Seven exquisite bedrooms accommodate up to 14 guests at this unique villa all featuring Casper gel mattresses, Smart TVs, ceiling fans and AC.
The primary suite, located off the East end of the living area, has a king-sized bed and writing desk. This room also has a 65” Smart TV and a luxurious en suite bathroom with walk-in shower and a freestanding tub. The suite opens onto the front courtyard through glass doors, steps from a cushioned sitting area to enjoy your morning coffee.

We want you to feel confident when renting a TRAVLR Vacation Home. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our Guests’ and Employees' health and safety. Currently, we spend between 4-16 working hours to clean each rental property after every reservation and have enhanced our check-out cleaning procedures to pay close attention to all details, specifically disinfecting all surfaces with anti-bacterial solutions. We frequently change all HVAC filters and clean pools twice weekly to help ensure optimal cleanliness as well. Our vendors and staff are equipped with protective gear such as face masks and gloves to maintain the safety of all parties.
Close by is the famous El Paseo and Old Town La Quinta areas with excellent dining and shopping options. If you are looking to play golf, we are minutes from PGA West with three public courses to choose from; The TPC Stadium, The Greg Norman and The Jack Nicklaus Tournament.
Enjoy some of the many world-class events like the Humana Challenge (previously the Bob Hope Classic). Or if you enjoy tennis, minutes away is the home of the BNP Paribas Open Tennis Classic at Indian Wells Top Rated Tennis Stadium, held early to mid-March, with over 300 of the top-rated tennis players in the world. In April comes the Coachella and Stagecoach Music Festivals just minutes down the road hosted at the famous Polo Grounds where you can also enjoy top-ranked polo matches free of charge and have a tailgate picnic with your friends at the same time!

WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK OUT?
Check in is after 3PM local time, and check out is no later than 11AM. Early check in and late check out may be available for your reservation upon request. Please reach out for the cost and availability.
WILL I NEED TO MEET THE PROPERTY MANAGER TO GET A KEY?
All TRAVLR Vacation Homes have keyless locks. This keyless system allows entry into the vacation rental through the issue of a “code” rather than a physical key. The code changes for every reservation so it is an incredibly safe alternative. By issuing the code prior to arrival, the check-in process is much easier.
DO YOU PROVIDE DAILY CLEANING SERVICE?
TRAVLR Vacation Homes provides a departure clean on all stays. A mid-week or mid-stay clean can be provided for an additional fee.
CAN WE HAVE THE POOL HEATED?
Your reservation "resort fee" includes the cost of pool heat (up to 80-82 degrees). This fee is not included on Airbnb bookings.
WHAT IS PROVIDED WITH MY ACCOMMODATIONS?
All of our vacation rentals are furnished and have a kitchen with amenities including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and blender. Each property is stocked with cooking and serving items including plates, bowls and utensils, as well as a can opener, corkscrew measuring spoons and more. The coffee maker takes ground coffee and we also offer a spice rack, salt and pepper.
There are bath towels, pool towels and bed linens. We also provide an initial supply of trash liners, toilet paper, hand soap and dishwasher soap. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner and liquid body wash. Laundry facilities are also equipped with laundry soap and dryer sheets.
CAN I SHIP A PACKAGE TO MY VACATION HOME?
We do not recommend shipping directly to the home, we do not have mailbox keys, and there are many different people with access to the home: vendors, housekeeping, Guest Services staff, etc... so we cannot be responsible for packages once delivered.
DO YOUR HOMES HAVE OUTDOOR MUSIC SYSTEMS?
Yes! The entire property both inside and out is filled with speakers that are setup in different zones so you can enjoy it wherever you are and even have different music playing in different areas. To use, simply download the Sonos app and connect to our Wi-Fi system. You can then control your music from Spotify, Apple Music and more. Due to city regulations though, the outdoor music speakers will not work between the hours of 9PM and 8AM (the indoor ones will though). Please note that bringing your own outdoor speakers is strictly forbidden unless pre-approved by management and could result in a $5000 fine from the city of Palm Desert.

I would recommend bringing your own pillow as ALL the pillows were oversized and uncomfortable. Not sure who uses pillows that big. The other thing to note is that 3 of the rooms were not part of the main house and had their own entrances."

The home is exactly as pictured, if not better in real life. Jen and her team were impeccable hosts, always responsive and were so thoughtful, even leaving crumbl cookies for the bride at check in. If I had any concerns or questions, they were addressed within minutes, no matter the time of day. The property is private and safe but close to a Target and shopping center so it was truly the best of both worlds. "The property is absolutely gorgeous and extremely private. It’s a wonderful location, with a beautiful and close view of the mountains. We had a wonderful time. The host is very responsive. The pools are beautiful, the fire pit was cozy, we had fun grilling dinner in the back yard and even the hammocks were a great way to unwind. Two minor things to be aware of: to get there, you drive for a (very) short distance onto a dirt road. We thought we had to be going the wrong way, but we weren’t (Jen’s directions are clear on this). The house is that private! Also, since the house is quite close to the mountains, the sun drops behind the mountains earlier in the day. We visited around Christmas and the sun was behind the mountains by around 3:30pm which made us a bit chillier outdoors. As the days get longer, that would be different and it’d even be an advantage in the summer months. Overall, we had a great time as a family and would love to do it again."

"Great house for a big group. We were 4 families and the house never felt crowded. The casita rooms are in the garage conversion so that’s something to be aware of. They felt a little removed and not as chic as the rest of the house. We stuck some of the older kids in there. The kitchen has literally everything you could ever need in terms of equipment and it was a pleasure to cook meals in. We also loved the outdoor grill. The neighborhood has a strict noise policy so this is not the house to come to if you plan on playing music past 9pm but we appreciated the quiet. The location is wonderful. It’s within easy driving distance from shops and restaurants but feels remote once you’re on the property."

Lots of communal and private space, not to mention all the fun games and amenities on site, from the hot tub and pools to the bocce court/ping pong table. Jen was very responsive to all our needs during our stay from providing softer pillows to quickly replacing a broken coffee grinder. She also recommended a private chef and other services prior to getting there - and that made organizing the trip super easy. The setting is beautiful, quiet and feels quite remote. Yet, whole foods, target and lots of restaurants are within 5-10 mins drive. We really enjoyed our stay and totally recommend this spot! It's our first time to Palm Desert and we're looking forward to future visits."

"This place was absolutely gorgeous. We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday here with a group of friends and it was great. Enough bedrooms and privacy for everyone. My one piece of feedback is that I wish there were more bathrooms. It's a little odd that there are only 4 bathrooms for the number of bedrooms and the price. But the outside situation more than makes up for it. We did everything: played volleyball, relaxed by the pool, swam, played corn hole and ping pong, bbq'd, hung out by the fire pit, rested in the hammocks, walked to the great hiking trails just out the back gate. The place is truly amazing, and there was always enough space for everyone to do what they wanted. It was the perfect getaway, really quiet and relaxing at night. The communication was so kind and responsive. We accidentally got locked out of one of the rooms and they sent someone at midnight to help us out. Truly above and beyond!"

The views from the backyard were exceptional. We felt like there were no other houses or people around us but yet we could walk or drive to restaurants & grocery stores nearby. Also, the support from the property management company was superb. We had a couple of questions & issues that got resolved immediately. We highly recommend this property."

We spent Thanksgiving week here with our 4 adult children, their spouses and children and had a blast. We rented cars but barely used them because miles of hiking trails are right out the door. The weather was perfect and so were the pool and spa. With the volleyball and bocce ball courts and the fire pit it felt like a resort we never wanted to leave. So we really didn't! My only caution is to make sure the bathroom setup works for you. It was fine for us but might be a little cozy for some.

"The house was absolutely gorgeous. We went for my son’s birthday and he had the best time swimming all day. The beds are really comfy and everything was super clean. The outdoor is extremely big and has some really great views perfect for a morning cup of coffee outside. The house on the inside was really spacious and beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped as well. We look forward to booking this house again in the future."

"This house is beautiful and EXACTLY as pictured. It's perfect for a large group. The AC worked great in all rooms, the sound system throughout the house was awesome, the kitchen was fully stocked for 18 guests, extra towels in the vanities of each bathroom, there is a Kurig AND coffee maker. The pool in the back is a really great size to hold all your guests. I took full advantage of ALL of Jen's suggestions by having a chef come in and cook Dinner on Saturday night, brought in massage therapist that 5 of our guests took advantage of, AND, we took advantage of the pre stocking of the fridge and pantry. Jen was super responsive and accommodating. She also let us have an early check in. All of our family members were very impressed with the house and all the perks. This place is a MUST STAY and I'm SUPER picky, so that says ALOT! **One thing to point out for clarification...there is a full bath in the game room area for the 2 rooms off the game room to use."

"We stayed at Base Camp for 4 nights and had a blast! We had at least 1 person in each room and had plenty of space, it did not feel crowded at all. I believe that Parties planning on staying there at maximum occupancy could do so and be very comfortable. The back yard is also very spacious and the pool has plenty of chair and towels and umbrellas — it feels like you’re at a resort pool. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment, flatware, cutlery, etc. (unlike some vacation homes) and the bedrooms have plenty of towels and soaps — all the necessities Would definitely recommend!"

"If you’re looking for a getaway to a place that truly has it all this is it. My wife and I spent three days here while we went to Stagecoach and we always wanted to head home because of how wonderful the house was. The two pools are amazing and the hot tub. We had a quick weekend with family- we realized could have easily brought the little ones, with multiple bunk beds, plenty of games, etc… but it was great to hike the hills, come back a jump in the pool then enjoy a home cooked meal at a table large enough to seat all 12 of us. The bedrooms and bathrooms are just perfect. We will definitely be back when it’s no so hot so we can enjoy more of that beautiful back yard. A “plus plus”!"

The home has so much to offer with the open layout, multiple bedrooms and entertaining backyard (pool, hot tub, volleyball, hiking and more!). The house it tucked away from the main roads to feel private and isolated enough to enjoy your stay with shopping, grocery and restaurants less than 10 minutes away. The host was extremely responsive and made us feel welcome during our stay. Everyone felt as if they were at a resort and it was hard to leave. We highly recommend this house and we cannot wait to return!"

"My old college pals and I had a fantastic stay at Base Camp. The pools were wonderful, the landscaping was lovely, and all of the rooms were very comfortable. Jen, the host, was very responsive and gave very detailed check-in and check-out instructions. We stayed for a week and only left the property to get groceries, hike on the trails, and get date shakes because we enjoyed our time "at camp" so much. No one wanted to leave and we all agreed it was one of the best vacations we've taken in a long time. Pro tip: there are umbrella holders in the shallow "shelf" areas of the pool!"

"Base Camp is like an oasis in the desert--isolated enough but also not so far from El Paseo Drive and other important places like grocery stores. Everything is incredibly well-curated and guests will constantly be surprised at all the nice little details. The pools are wonderful (go for the heating if you can outside of the dead of summer) and the activities available are fun to keep the days entertaining. We ran into some unexpected issues with the wind, but this may more be something related to the area and not always something you should expect--we were told that it was worse than usual by some native to the area. Checking in easy, and the place is an absolute dream for entertaining, enjoying the day, and enjoying company. Highly recommended!"

"If there was a crown jewel in the desert, this property would be it! Have you been longing for a change of scenery these days? Dreaming of a luxury getaway? Looking to create memories for the books? Wishing you can jump into an architectural digest home? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this house is for you! The checkin process was easier then any Airbnb I've stayed at and the hosts were very attentive. When we arrived we opened the door to the most breathtaking views of the mountains. The house was spotless. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are very nice and the kitchen is fully equipped which I appreciate because I love to cook. The house comes with an easy to read binder for operating instructions, though we didn't really need it. Everything is or looks brand new. The interior decor is beautiful and is giving me major redecorating goals. The common area is very open. It's a perfect spot for entertaining and for kids to play if you decide to be indoors; though I must admit the best part of this house is outside. We had so much fun playing and lounging in the pool, enjoying a game of bocce, hitting the ball around in volleyball court, sitting around the fire pit at night and of course jumping into the beautifully lit up jacuzzi with a cocktail. There was literally not a moment of boredom. The worst part about this house is leaving it!"

The property itself is newly remolded with a ton of space and every appliance in there is brand new. The house itself came stocked with all the essentials you would need to be able to enjoy your vacation. There are countless activities to do here such as: 2 pools with views (Heated before our arrival which was a nice touch), full size Volleyball court, tennis court, Bocci ball court, game room with a pool table and ping pong table, hiking trails right outside the backyard, walking distance to shops and restaurants, or simply laying in the 3 hammocks while listening to music with their Sonos sound system that links throughout the entire house. The hosts attention to detail was apparent from the moment you book your stay to the moment you leave. The property was clean and spotless when we arrived and the host was quick to respond with any questions we had (which weren't many) and accommodated any and all special requests. Overall, if you are looking for a luxury vacation experience to book in palm springs / palm desert I would not hesitate with this property and these hosts. We will certainly book this amazing experience again soon."

"This was the best house I've ever rented! Celebrated my 30th birthday with a group of friends and the house exceeded all of our expectations! Comfortably slept everyone and had something for every person to have a great time. Loved the Sonos sound system being connected all through the house and backyard, and how open the inside of the house was. Backyard is amazing! Felt super private even though there are homes on each side of the property and loved the views/access to hiking trail from the house- had no issues with noise. The house is super easy to figure out and checking in and out was great. Jen and her team were super responsive to any questions we had and made sure we had a great stay! "We had a great time at this property. We were a group of 12 ranging from 10-70 yrs old and the house was perfect for all ages. We loved the pools, the volleyball court, bocce and ping pong. The tween kids loved having their own private space (the converted garage). House was super clean and everything worked great. There are several great hiking trails you can access from the backyard so that was very fun. Tons of bedrooms. Jen The property manager and her team were amazing and super responsive. Was a great getaway and we would love to go back."

The two salt water pools were extremely relaxing, as the higher density water allows you to float effortlessly. Only complaint would be that the two volleyballs that came with the house were deflated, but we bought a hand pump from a nearby sporting goods store and were good to go. We are looking forward to returning soon."

Plenty of room both indoors and outdoors creating many activities and memories for my 14 person family. Every bed was huge, tons of dinnerware, utensils, cups, pots, pans, towels, soap, you name it. Everything in the house from design to functionality was so well thought out. The pictures accurately represent the space, but the views of the mountains and backyard landscape are indescribable. I cannot express how pleasant my trip was. Jen was also so easy to get a hold of and resolved any simple issue or question I had. I really have post-vacation blues today. "This house is honestly phenomenal! The house was very clean and spacious. The host was available 24/7 ... The property sits on the mountains which had amazing views and it’s on a private road which was awesome. The house did have two amazing pools. They don’t have a patio for the backyard but from talking to the host, I was told there should be one in the future. There are neighbors in the mountains so definitely keep the volume low with the sound ordinance in effect for the area. I definitely give this house five stars! Can’t wait for the next stay!"

“Base Camp was an outstanding place to visit. The property is large and lends itself to a perfect mix of relaxation and enjoyment. The location is perfect, nestled up against the hills, it feels isolated yet is somehow only minutes from town. The backyard is extremely well equipped - sizable pool, hot tub, bocce ball court, volleyball court, tons of chairs/sofas to lounge on, bbq, fire pit etc. The interior is nicely redone and felt very clean, bright and open. Perfect for a multiple family trip, or multiple couples retreat. We'd definitely consider coming back.”

Really Special Location and Awesome Accommodations! Perfect Desert House for Active Family with Teens and College Age Kids. Wonderful backyard and pool setup. Extremely attentive owner and management. Would stay again at Base Camp in Palm Desert in a heart beat.
