Want to take the entertainment inside? Casa Mara has a fully air conditioned, converted garage space that has become the ultimate game room and gym. Equipped with billiards, foosball, air hockey, ping pong and a large, big screen TV, this space will leave you thinking - what more could you ask for? Oh, a gym? We’ve got you covered with the all-new Peloton treadmill and Peloton spin bike!
Other noteworthy features - Sonos sound system integrated indoors and outdoors throughout the property, desert zen garden lounge area, hanging chairs, outdoor shower and an outdoor guest bathroom for easy access from the pool area.
There are several dining options with an outdoor kitchen that includes a grill, mini fridge, outdoor TV and plenty of prep space. Inside, the large open-plan kitchen comes with an island and large breakfast bar – your resident chef's happy place. All brand-new surfaces throughout the homes and sleek monochrome/earthy touches give the living area a classy, sophisticated feel, helped by the natural light through large windows – a sophistication that continues into the bedrooms. The luxurious bathrooms are particularly stylish, and the deep freestanding bathtub in the primary suite is the perfect place to end sunny Palm Desert days.
You won't need to (or want to) leave this estate property, but if you do, head to the unique landscapes at nearby Joshua Tree National Park for desert hikes and total tranquility or drive down the road to El Paseo, the “Rodeo Drive” of the desert for shopping and dining.

For added convenience, this home also features two private washers and dryers. A spacious driveway provides room for up to 6 cars, giving you the freedom to explore the surrounding desert, including Joshua Tree, located less than an hour away.
We want you to feel confident when renting a TRAVLR Vacation Home. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our Guests’ and Employees' health and safety. Currently, we spend between 4-16 working hours to clean each rental property after every reservation and have enhanced our check-out cleaning procedures to pay close attention to all details, specifically disinfecting all surfaces with anti-bacterial solutions. We frequently change all HVAC filters and clean pools twice weekly to help ensure optimal cleanliness as well. Our vendors and staff are equipped with protective gear such as face masks and gloves to maintain the safety of all parties.
Close by is the famous El Paseo and Old Town La Quinta areas with excellent dining and shopping options. If you are looking to play golf, we are minutes from PGA West with three public courses to choose from; The TPC Stadium, The Greg Norman and The Jack Nicklaus Tournament.
Enjoy some of the many world-class events like the Humana Challenge (previously the Bob Hope Classic). Or if you enjoy tennis, minutes away is the home of the BNP Paribas Open Tennis Classic at Indian Wells Top Rated Tennis Stadium, held early to mid-March, with over 300 of the top-rated tennis players in the world. In April comes the Coachella and Stagecoach Music Festivals just minutes down the road hosted at the famous Polo Grounds where you can also enjoy top-ranked polo matches free of charge and have a tailgate picnic with your friends at the same time!

Check in is after 3PM local time, and check out is no later than 11AM. Early check in and late check out may be available for your reservation upon request. Please reach out for the cost and availability.
WILL I NEED TO MEET THE PROPERTY MANAGER TO GET A KEY?
All TRAVLR Vacation Homes have keyless locks. This keyless system allows entry into the vacation rental through the issue of a “code” rather than a physical key. The code changes for every reservation so it is an incredibly safe alternative. By issuing the code prior to arrival, the check-in process is much easier.
DO YOU PROVIDE DAILY CLEANING SERVICE?
TRAVLR Vacation Homes provides a departure clean on all stays. A mid-week or mid-stay clean can be provided for an additional fee.
CAN WE HAVE THE POOL HEATED?
Your reservation "resort fee" includes the cost of pool heat (up to 80-82 degrees). This fee is not included on Airbnb bookings.
WHAT IS PROVIDED WITH MY ACCOMMODATIONS?
All of our vacation rentals are furnished and have a kitchen with amenities including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and blender. Each property is stocked with cooking and serving items including plates, bowls and utensils, as well as a can opener, corkscrew measuring spoons and more. The coffee maker takes ground coffee and we also offer a spice rack, salt and pepper.
There are bath towels, pool towels and bed linens. We also provide an initial supply of trash liners, toilet paper, hand soap and dishwasher soap. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner and liquid body wash. Laundry facilities are also equipped with laundry soap and dryer sheets.
CAN I SHIP A PACKAGE TO MY VACATION HOME?
We do not recommend shipping directly to the home, we do not have mailbox keys, and there are many different people with access to the home: vendors, housekeeping, Guest Services staff, etc... so we cannot be responsible for packages once delivered.
DO YOUR HOMES HAVE OUTDOOR MUSIC SYSTEMS?
Yes! The entire property both inside and out is filled with speakers that are setup in different zones so you can enjoy it wherever you are and even have different music playing in different areas. To use, simply download the Sonos app and connect to our Wi-Fi system. You can then control your music from Spotify, Apple Music and more. Due to city regulations though, the outdoor music speakers will not work between the hours of 9PM and 8AM (the indoor ones will though). Please note that bringing your own outdoor speakers is strictly forbidden unless pre-approved by management and could result in a $5000 fine from the city of Palm Desert.

"Stayed here for a big family weekend getaway and it was great! There was plenty of space for our group — the older teenagers loved the separate casita while the younger kids enjoyed the bunk bed room. And everyone was comfortable hanging in the open floor plan's communal spaces. The kitchen was fully stocked with every amenity we needed; there were plenty of towels and toiletries for everyone; and the backyard truly felt like a resort with the lazy river/slide, various hammocks and hangout areas, pickleball court and beach volleyball court. There were no issues with the A/C and it kept us cool inside during the hot June desert weather. Jen was a gracious, welcoming host, who kindly answered any questions promptly and professionally. Our entire family loved this vacation home and had a wonderful experience — looking forward to staying here again!"

"Casa Mara was definitely one of the best houses my friends and I have ever stayed in. The house was so spacious and clean, with a kitchen stocked with plenty of dishware and cookware for my friends and I to cook delicious meals together :) The location of the house was only 10-15 minutes away from the golf courses we were planning on playing, and there were plenty of supermarkets and grocery stores nearby to have enough food during our stay. The beds were very comfortable, and it was such a lovely property- the private pickleball court was really fun, and we loved the pool and hot tub as well. The host was also gracious enough to not only let us check in a couple hours early, but also extended our check out time a couple more hours, which really helped us with our flight schedule! I highly recommend this property and would love to stay at this beautiful home again :)"

"We had a group of our kids, their spouses and all our grandkids. This is an annual event for us and out of all the other beautiful homes we’ve stayed in this one got 2 thumbs up from everyone! The bedrooms/bathrooms were nicely decorated, the kitchen was well equipped and spacious. The backyard was absolutely amazing!! The pool was just as beautiful as advertised. The kids loved the slide and the adults loved the spa. We spent one evening in the play room having fun with all the table games, and we even played pickle ball. The property is also loaded with amenities, such as cribs and highchairs. There are an abundant amount of activities to do for all ages, including the pool/lazy river, pickleball courts, volleyball etc.. The Game room attached to the Casita building is also large and has air hockey tables, exercise equipment etc.. The main house, the casita and the game room have great AC, we visited when temperatures were in triple digits but inside the main house/casita/game room it was nice and cool."

"Our family of 13, ages 18 months to 88 years, had a fantastic time at Casa Mara! There was something for everyone to do and we were very comfortable in the home. There were plenty of sporting options, and all equipment was supplied. There was no need to ever leave! We also had a French Bulldog with us, and she absolutely loved having such a gigantic yard to run around in. We were at ease knowing the entire yard was securly fenced. "The place - the main house has 7 bedrooms and all are a nice size (1 is slightly smaller) but the primary is massive. They open up to a great room, which is where our party spent most of its time - big kitchen/ living room/ and dining area. They have a really nice room for kids too with BIG bunk beds for at least 4 kids which was great for our family of almost 14 - with 3 kids and 2 infants. Big laundry room to with 2 washers and 2 dryers. *the outside - fantastic space - family pool with slide which was used a ton (needed to be in 115 degree heat) - great slide - kids loved. Full sand volleyball court (saw less use due to heat and same with the basketball court. Pool was the main hub - its to a lap pool, but theres a mini lazy river quality to the wrap around nature (no actual jet powered stream) and a spa which looks great and served as a kid pool. Nice outdoor kitchen with a barbecue as well. great stay * please know in June/July/aug palm dessert is extremely hot (112)"

The teens immediately took over each "play area" - game room, basketball court, lazy river, putting green, while the adults enjoyed the firepit with a nightly glass of wine. It was the perfect place for all of us to be together while enjoying so many different things to do. Great location to visit Joshua Tree and downtown Palm Springs when we weren't enjoying the house. Loved working with TRAVLR as well - they answered all my questions very quickly and the recommendations for restaurants and private chef were great. Several in our group had to work during our vacation, as well, and the internet was very good. The outside area at Casa Mara was spectacular with activities for everyone, including in the "Playground." So many fun games to play and having the Peloton equipment was definitely an added bonus. You can easily vacation in the desert without ever having to leave this property! The location was also perfect, in between La Quinta and Palm Springs. It was an easy walk to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden and a quick drive to El Paseo. Although we had small issues that came up during our 11 days at Casa Mara, the management company was always very responsive, taking care of our needs almost immediately. We had such a good time and look forward to a return visit!"

"A treat to stay in this lovely house. Jen went way beyond to make our long-weekend comfortable and memorable. They gave us clear instructions of how to run all the ins and outs for the house. The beds were all very comfortable with nice bathrooms. The property looks exactly like it does in the pictures. Jen was very accommodating and very quick to respond with any questions I had. She was also flexible with check-in and check-out time, which was extremely helpful. The house is quiet, clean and spacious. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Our family of 16, ages 8 months to 70 years, had the absolute BEST time at Casa Mara!! As beautiful as the photos are, the property is even more beautiful when you see it in person! There was more than enough space for our crew to have privacy if they wanted, naps for the babies, and each of the rooms was so bright and airy and so nicely decorated. The huge kitchen was perfect for making meals together and the outside grill area was perfect for our barbecues! We enjoyed eating our meals outside and one night sat around the fire pit and made s'mores!! The pool is gorgeous and with the water slide was a huge hit with the grandkids! We had volleyball games on the nice court, basketball games, and games of pool while a few of us kept up our exercise routines on the treadmill! We never needed to leave the property (and we didn't want to) and seriously we barely had time to do everything there was to do at Casa Mara! From our first rental inquiry, our questions were answered quickly and the Property Manager was in contact with us from the minute we arrived and very responsive if we needed assistance during out stay. We can't wait to visit Casa Mara again!! Don't hesitate to rent this fabulous property, you will be so happy you did!!"

"So a group of 12 guys decided to get together to play a golf tournament and we chose La Quinta California. We found a great property 10 minutes away in Palm Desert, Casa Mara. We have stayed at hotels as a group before but we opted for something different this time. This fantastic property had a bed for everyone, yes, that's correct 12 beds, one for each guy. Plenty of restrooms and showers as well. But as good as the sleeping accommodations were, the kitchen and family room and pool and outdoor area and the indoor playground in the back were absolutely off the charts amazing! We went to Costco to procure our food for the four nights that we were there so that we could cook together and eat together and spend time whereas if we were at a hotel things are always so much more complicated. This house provided a great gathering experience for all of us. This place had plenty of TVs and a Sonos sound system so that we could play music by the pool and in the house. Fantastic air conditioning system and a perfectly set temperature on the pool made for a great for night stay. I would recommend this place highly. One of the features that made our stay great was the concert communication from the property manager, Kim. She was responsive to any requests that we had and it was very comforting to know that she could help us if we needed anything. Again, this is a beautiful property with lots of space for a large group to hang out in. We are looking forward to book in this house again in the future. Hit em straight!"

Texted a couple questions to the property manager and heard back within minutes every time. The pool, lazy river, and waterslide kept everyone entertained all day long every day. The game room was huge and wonderful too. Couldn't have been more pleased with everything."

"If you are looking for a fun gathering place for a large group, and you value clean, new, and beautiful facilities with tons of play options, look no further! We just spent 3 nights at Casa Mara with our 7 grandchildren and 7 kids celebrating our 40th anniversary, and EVERYONE said it was our favorite family vacation so far! No need to ever leave this well-designed property with so much space to spread out and quietly relax or gather together to loudly play! Our favorite activities were definitely the outdoor water slide, lazy river, spa, putting green, fire pit and indoor game room air hockey, ping pong, Pelotons, puzzle building table, and big screen TV! Plenty of refrigerators throughout to keep drinks and snacks cool and handy. Kitchen well equipped and beds and linens so comfy! It’s like they thought of everything! Only downside is the cost, once all the mandatory fees are added.🙈 But if you can save up enough pennies, you won’t regret it!👍🏼 Thanks, Casa Mara Team, for your designing such an amazing home, maintaining it so well, and managing with excellent communication support!"

If you have a large group with disparate schedules and activities, this is a great place - plenty of space to move around, be with the group or be by yourself. We used every inch of the property and absolutely loved it!"

The bedrooms were spacious and the decor well thought out, classy and on point!! The kitchen and living space was made to accommodate a big group. Never felt crowded! There are no words for the backyard space!! Definitely, no need to leave the property!! There were amenities to satisfy adults and kiddos!! Absolutely felt like we were at our own private resort!! "My family and I recently stayed at Casa Mara and had an incredible experience. The park-like grounds left no one asking for more…we played volleyball on a full size sand court, swam for hours in the pool (which had a lazy river and slide!!!), had putting contests, shot some hoops and relaxed in hammocks placed throughout the property. We enjoyed making s’mores in the outdoor fire pit and bbq’d most of our meals using the full outdoor kitchen….this was just our experience outdoors. The main home was immaculate…clean, well appointed and very very spacious. Every room and bathroom were like new with the most state-of-the-art amenities (charging docs, smart tv’s, WiFi, etc.). Our party included 12 people…7 adults and 5 boys and we never felt like we didn’t have our own private space. The open concept allowed for the 12 of us to eat, play games and watch tv very comfortably. When we cooked indoors it was a breeze because of the top of the line appliances and the endless supply of cookware. Like everything else, no expense was spared in the game room and casita. It had Peloton work out equipment and every game possible for the kids to enjoy. The massive movie theater like screen was perfect way to watch the Jungle Cruise movie! We cannot say enough about Casa Mara! We will definitely be back!"

The property was very accommodating and a perfect location for a fun getaway. For those who like to explore, the area offers restaurants and stores very close. The property offered so much to do for the whole family like the Game room, lazy river pool, volleyball court and so much more. We were always entertained. "Everything about this house says luxury and elegance! We all enjoyed the expansive grounds, the pool, the game room and even the volleyball court! Our group consisted of 4 families (12 people total!) and not once did we feel overcrowded, everyone was able to have their own space and spread out. Our favorite time of the day was cooking big family size dinners in the state of the art kitchen and then jumping in the pool for a night swim and fun on the slide! We would definitely recommend a stay at this amazing property and we can't wait to go back!!!"

"We cannot say enough great things about Casa Mara in Palm Desert! We recently stayed there with three other families and had a wonderful experience. The house itself is gorgeous, decorated beautifully with all the latest technology and equipment – no detail has been overlooked. The main house is light and spacious, providing more than enough room for groups to congregate comfortably. The rooms were clean and comfortable with just the right number of beds and bathrooms for each couple, and the ‘kids’ room with bunk beds was perfect for all our boys. Outside, the lazy river pool and water slide was a huge bonus, not to mention the playroom located at the back of the property that had just about everything you could want – huge TV, pool table, air hockey, foosball table, ping pong table and more. There was also a Peloton bike and treadmill. There’s really no need to leave the property while there because there is so much to do! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a large group/family getaway with all the luxury appointments."

"This property reached ALL of the family members expectations. It's relatively new, so the rooms and bathrooms are clean. Amenities are a bit limited in regards to the bathrooms and some parts of the kitchen. Overall, great place to stay with extended family members. We had 16 people in total, plus a medium size dog. There was enough space for adults to work and play, and the kids just played."

"This house went far beyond our expectations. It is all that was advertised and more. First it is clean. Really clean. The maintenance staff and cleaning staff are obviously top notch. All rooms were carefully and tastefully appointed without trying too hard. the beds are nice and the covers and blankets are nice. Nothing in the house felt cheap. The kitchen had an abundance of glasses, plates, flatware, and cooking utensils. Everything worked. Nice TV's and lots of them. The pool was super fun, although keep in mind the main part is not huge. It's as pictured and clean but you're probably not going to get a big party game going in the pool. the kids loved the slide and all was clean and worked. All the grounds are well taken care of. The game room was fantastic and again, everything worked. All the furniture was clean and comfy. Wifi was fast. Communication was good too. Normally I wouldn't recommend such a nice house because I prefer to keep it to myself (joking) but this house is just so nice we even started thinking about buying something like it. If you're planning to have a big messy party here it's probably the wrong place because you won't be able to cover up damage and excessive messes as any would be obvious, and there isn't much to do near the property itself (just an ordinary neighborhood) This house is best suited for neat and responsible purposes, like family gatherings, not for a raging party. "Well done" to the owners! We look forward to an opportunity to stay again."

"If you’re looking for a fun yet relaxing home for your group to enjoy in the desert, look no further. Casa Mara is it! This resort-like home is beautiful, modern and was perfect for my group of 13 adults. There were thoughtful touches throughout the home that made you feel like they really put a lot of effort into thinking about their guests and their wants/needs while away from home. The home was comfortable, fun and we enjoyed it so much, we never left the house. Each room was a good size and all the bedding was high quality. The pool with the lazy river is where our group spent most of our time while listening to music on the Sonos system and bbq-ing. We also made good use of the volleyball court and the game room…you read that correctly GAME ROOM, that is detached from the house so folks who want to stay up later than others can still enjoy themselves. The home also had a mini gym area that included a Peloton bike and treadmill, pool table, air hockey, ping pong table and more! There is something for everyone at this home – whether you feel competitive and want to play games, be active, or just lounge by the pool, fire pit or on a hammock enjoying a cold beverage. I can't wait to stay here again."
