Santal Estate is definitely not your mainstream vacation rental. The private villas boasts open concept floor plans purposefully designed to accommodate casual weekend getaways, large family retreats, corporate events, weddings or the ultimate music festival experience. The Santal Estate is set with the majestic backdrop of the La Quinta desert mountains, making for the perfect retreat for some R&R when you’re not racing BMW M cars at the Thermal Race Track on a Saturday afternoon. WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK OUT?
Check in is after 3PM local time, and check out is no later than 11AM. Early check in and late check out may be available for your reservation upon request. Please reach out for the cost and availability.
WILL I NEED TO MEET THE PROPERTY MANAGER TO GET A KEY?
All TRAVLR Vacation Homes have keyless locks. This keyless system allows entry into the vacation rental through the issue of a “code” rather than a physical key. The code changes for every reservation so it is an incredibly safe alternative. By issuing the code prior to arrival, the check-in process is much easier.
DO YOU PROVIDE DAILY CLEANING SERVICE?
TRAVLR Vacation Homes provides a departure clean on all stays. A mid-week or mid-stay clean can be provided for an additional fee.
CAN WE HAVE THE POOL HEATED?
Your reservation "resort fee" includes the cost of pool heat (up to 80-82 degrees). This fee is not included on Airbnb bookings.
WHAT IS PROVIDED WITH MY ACCOMMODATIONS?
All of our vacation rentals are furnished and have a kitchen with amenities including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and blender. Each property is stocked with cooking and serving items including plates, bowls and utensils, as well as a can opener, corkscrew measuring spoons and more. The coffee maker takes ground coffee and we also offer a spice rack, salt and pepper.
There are bath towels, pool towels and bed linens. We also provide an initial supply of trash liners, toilet paper, hand soap and dishwasher soap. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner and liquid body wash. Laundry facilities are also equipped with laundry soap and dryer sheets.
CAN I SHIP A PACKAGE TO MY VACATION HOME?
We do not recommend shipping directly to the home, we do not have mailbox keys, and there are many different people with access to the home: vendors, housekeeping, Guest Services staff, etc... so we cannot be responsible for packages once delivered.
DO YOUR HOMES HAVE OUTDOOR MUSIC SYSTEMS?
Yes! The entire property both inside and out is filled with speakers that are setup in different zones so you can enjoy it wherever you are and even have different music playing in different areas. To use, simply download the Sonos app and connect to our Wi-Fi system. You can then control your music from Spotify, Apple Music and more. Due to city regulations though, the outdoor music speakers will not work between the hours of 9PM and 8AM (the indoor ones will though). Please note that bringing your own outdoor speakers is strictly forbidden unless pre-approved by management and could result in a $5000 fine from the city of Indio.

"We had a great stay at Jen's house! It was perfect for our large family group of 7 adults and 3 toddlers. The backyard is the real star of the home, with so many different areas and activities. The kids loved making stores around the fire pit (which is gas, super convenient) and hanging out in the jacuzzi. The pool was a little cold, even with the heat on but we were also there in February so this is probably the coldest it gets. Jen was very accommodating and even helped us with an early check-in to work around our toddler's nap schedule. Highly recommend!"

We brought board, card, and dice games; inflatable pool toys; and lots of food. We also rented both properties so had foosball, pool table, ping pong, cornhole, golf play. EVERYTHING you dream of is there. Also, the collection of glassware, cookware, serving pieces, vases, etc was absolutely astonishing. "I cannot say enough amazing things about this property and the management. Everything was perfect. From the fire pit to the volleyball court. We spent our days in the pool and the hot tub. We cooked and grilled every day. The bedrooms were so great. The primary bedroom is gorgeous - from the sitting area, walk-in closet and the giant and luxurious bathroom. Bunk beds for the kids were a hit. Any small issues that we encountered were fixed immediately. We could not have been happier. We will definitely be back."

“The place was close to perfect. It was spotless, well-stocked, and the check-in and communication process was very easy. The house was beautiful with an incredible amount of indoor and outdoor space. The outdoor space was stunning with a beautiful pool and jacuzzi, hammocks under palm trees, and plenty of soft grass. It truly surpassed our expectations. The only possible negative - if it's your first Palm Springs experience, it's a good hike to get into Palm Springs/the airport (about 30 minutes at minimum). It wouldn't keep us from booking again, but if you're spending all your time in downtown Palm Springs, this may not be the house for you.”

"Super spacious house and yard. The host was extremely responsive and would kindly check in to make sure everything was ok. We walked in to the AC running, lights on, and smooth jazz playing throughout the house. It was an instant welcoming that continued throughout the trip. The rooms are big, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms have everything you need, and the dining/living/kitchen are massive which was nice to have everyone together. "Look no further. This is the rental you want in Indio. The grounds were massive. The pool is huge (deep end). They had a 4 car garage for our large party. And an extra fridge for our special dinners. They provided shampoo, conditioner, soap. Lots of bath and pool towels. My family (party of 13) had the best time. We were so comfortable here. The property manager did an excellent job getting us in and out of the property. We love this house."

"An amazing house and perfect place to gather and celebrate my fiancés 30th birthday. Jen and the team were quick to reply anytime I had a question prior to our stay and once we were there. The photos really don't do the place justice, the beds were super comfy (guests from our group even bought the same sheets after!), the Sonos music was a game-changer just like other reviews said. The house had everything we needed and more. So grateful for such a great find!"

"The property is beautiful and the location was perfect for our needs. The backyard was definitely the biggest hit, we played games all weekend and would still be there having daily volleyball tournaments if we could! We had a few questions come up throughout the weekend and the host and entire staff was very helpful in getting us what we needed and having things checked out. We can't wait to be back!"

“AMAZING HOME and GREAT SERVICE! We stayed at this home with 4 families - all with young kids. This is the best home we've rented in Palm Springs and we've been going for many years. The inside is a nice open concept and everything was fully stocked. There is so much to do outside - the yard space is huge and the pool itself is enormous - perfect for large groups of kids. The home is packed with fun things to do for both kids and adults. The music system was incredible with Sonos in every location, including the outdoor pool, fire pit, and volleyball court. We had to book this in one day because of COVID and the process was seamless...both during booking and during our stay. Jen was awesome and super-responsive. I highly recommend this home for any large group!”

"My family of 5 rented the house for a week. The property is very large and a nice pool, hot tub, volleyball court, huge lawn, and ping pong table. The house could easily hold two families. Nice TVs in every room, comfortable beds and linens. Highly recommend the house."

"We had 14 family members representing ages 3 to 63 and three generations. Everyone loved the place - beautiful grounds, a fabulous pool, beach volleyball, fire pit and more. We particularly liked the spacious accommodations, comfortable beds and kitchen set up - perfect for a large group. We all had our own space when we wanted it and great accommodations for dining inside and out for the whole gang. Five out of five stars from us."

"This house was beautiful and sparkling clean. A perfect home for a large group or a work retreat. My team and I had a wonderful and relaxing time, especially the pool was big enough for everyone to lounge around. Jen and her team were extremely responsive and attentive. If something needed to be fixed, it got fixed immediately. One tricky thing about this house is I had a hard time finding the 7th room and what do you know, it was behind the pantry. I would definitely stay at Jen's property again"

"Stayed here for 2 nights with 16 girls this past week and we honestly could not have been happier with our experience! The property is even more gorgeous in person than in the photos, we were all very comfortably situated in clean & stylish bedrooms, there were plenty of bathrooms, kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and the staff was extremely helpful (checked in to see if we had any questions and responded to my texts immediately). There was also so much to do at this property that we never even left the house. From the awesome pool to the volleyball court, corn hole, pingpong, fire pit, TVs and more... your group will definitely not be bored! I would 100% stay at this property again. My guests and I would all highly recommend it :)"

"I can't even begin to explain how amazing Jen and her team was. I organized a weekend for a bunch of ladies and Jen was so patient and attentive with the zillion questions I asked. She was professional, quick to respond and was very courteous. Her staff was super helpful with questions about the house and overall everything was perfect. Oh, the house was to die for, so that definitely helped too! It was an optimal place for our group so much so that we didn't feel compelled for dinner, etc. Each detail of the decor was impeccable. I can't wait to stay there again!"

Everything about the property and communication was amazing and seamless! If I had a question, I would just text to the property manager and she literally responded within minutes. The backyard especially was perfect for our group and we couldn't have had a better experience.

"Somehow, the house was even better than the pictures! We had a group of 16 for my fiancee’s birthday celebration and this house was absolutely perfect. Everyone slept comfortably with all of the bedrooms, there was plenty of space in the pool and on the grounds, and great living room / dining area space for the entire group. The furnishings were all new, the beds comfy, the pool and grill very well maintained, and the perfect balance of being secluded from the other neighbors while also being an easy drive from Palm Springs airport, grocery store, and restaurants. We would absolutely rent this space again!"

"The home was extremely large and had all the amenities we needed. However the spa in the master bedroom wasn't working as perfectly as we hoped it would. But the real gem about this place was the backyard. Hammocks, fire pit, pool/hot tub, volleyball court, this home allowed for a lot of outside activities! Jen was really helpful and had great communication all weekend."

"...Absolutely perfect for my husband's 40th birthday weekend. We basically planted ourselves in the pool and literally did not leave the house once. It was an awesome weekend. The highlights: the master bedroom suite is enormous and made us feel like royalty...the fire pit was a hit...the pool is awesome and had great ledges for lounging...the entertainment system is AMAZING and super easy to use from your phone. You can have a different playlist going in each area of the house if you so desire (which was great for us as we had dueling DJs). The volleyball court is beautiful, but we had way too many margaritas to entertain even the slightest notion of availing ourselves of it. The kitchen has plenty of dishware/tableware - but if you're planning to do a lot of cooking you may want to bring some additional cookware/utensils as the kitchen is stocked with the very basics in terms of pots/pans/knives etc. We had a really swell time at this rental, and our group unanimously agreed that we want to return here to celebrate when the next one of us turns 40."

"I've never been inclined to write a review, but this house deserves as many outstanding reviews as it can get! Sometimes you look at photos of a house and wonder if the house and amenities are as nice in person. The pictures of this house are amazing and in person, it's even better than expected. The grounds are incredible and the amount of space was so great for 6 couples. The pool and spa are large with tons of seating and the grass area was enormous. The inside of the house was spotless, super comfortable beds, nice kitchen, great dining table that seats 12 people comfortably and tons of couch space. We are already talking about coming back to this property."
