For added convenience, this home also features two private washers and dryers. A spacious driveway provides room for up to 5 cars, giving you the freedom to explore the surrounding desert, including Joshua Tree, located less than an hour away. Street parking is not permitted. Oversized vehicles are not permitted.
We want you to feel confident when renting a TRAVLR Vacation Home. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our Guests’ and Employees' health and safety. Currently, we spend between 4-16 working hours to clean each rental property after every reservation and have enhanced our check-out cleaning procedures to pay close attention to all details, specifically disinfecting all surfaces with anti-bacterial solutions. We frequently change all HVAC filters and clean pools twice weekly to help ensure optimal cleanliness as well. Our vendors and staff are equipped with protective gear such as face masks and gloves to maintain the safety of all parties.
Close by is the famous El Paseo and Old Town La Quinta areas with excellent dining and shopping options. If you are looking to play golf, we are minutes from PGA West with three public courses to choose from; The TPC Stadium, The Greg Norman and The Jack Nicklaus Tournament.
Enjoy some of the many world-class events like the Humana Challenge (previously the Bob Hope Classic). Or if you enjoy tennis, minutes away is the home of the BNP Paribas Open Tennis Classic at Indian Wells Top Rated Tennis Stadium, held early to mid-March, with over 300 of the top-rated tennis players in the world. In April comes the Coachella and Stagecoach Music Festivals just minutes down the road hosted at the famous Polo Grounds where you can also enjoy top-ranked polo matches free of charge and have a tailgate picnic with your friends at the same time!

Check in is after 3PM local time, and check out is no later than 11AM. Early check in and late check out may be available for your reservation upon request. Please reach out for the cost and availability.
WILL I NEED TO MEET THE PROPERTY MANAGER TO GET A KEY?
All TRAVLR Vacation Homes have keyless locks. This keyless system allows entry into the vacation rental through the issue of a “code” rather than a physical key. The code changes for every reservation so it is an incredibly safe alternative. By issuing the code prior to arrival, the check-in process is much easier.
DO YOU PROVIDE DAILY CLEANING SERVICE?
TRAVLR Vacation Homes provides a departure clean on all stays. A mid-week or mid-stay clean can be provided for an additional fee.
CAN WE HAVE THE POOL HEATED?
Your reservation "resort fee" includes the cost of pool heat (up to 80-82 degrees). This fee is not included on Airbnb bookings.
WHAT IS PROVIDED WITH MY ACCOMMODATIONS?
All of our vacation rentals are furnished and have a kitchen with amenities including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and blender. Each property is stocked with cooking and serving items including plates, bowls and utensils, as well as a can opener, corkscrew measuring spoons and more. The coffee maker takes ground coffee and we also offer a spice rack, salt and pepper.
There are bath towels, pool towels and bed linens. We also provide an initial supply of trash liners, toilet paper, hand soap and dishwasher soap. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner and liquid body wash. Laundry facilities are also equipped with laundry soap and dryer sheets.
CAN I SHIP A PACKAGE TO MY VACATION HOME?
We do not recommend shipping directly to the home, we do not have mailbox keys, and there are many different people with access to the home: vendors, housekeeping, Guest Services staff, etc... so we cannot be responsible for packages once delivered.
DO YOUR HOMES HAVE OUTDOOR MUSIC SYSTEMS?
Yes! The entire property both inside and out is filled with speakers that are setup in different zones so you can enjoy it wherever you are and even have different music playing in different areas. To use, simply download the Sonos app and connect to our Wi-Fi system. You can then control your music from Spotify, Apple Music and more. Due to city regulations though, the outdoor music speakers will not work between the hours of 9PM and 8AM (the indoor ones will though). Please note that bringing your own outdoor speakers is strictly forbidden unless pre-approved by management and could result in a $5000 fine from the city of Palm Desert.

"WOW is all I have to say about this house. Genuinely a dream estate. I spent my 21st birthday there with 12 people including me, and we all fit perfectly. Everyone had a bed and a blast !! I would stay here over and over again. The house is genuinely stunning. Views are insane. So much parking in the driveway, veryyyy clean and taken care of. And the interior design was beautiful. Lots of things in the kitchen as well ! The owner even left us a little gift to walk into 🥹 Overall a beautiful experience and I can’t wait to come back. Also like 30 min from downtown palm springs but for that house worth the drive!!"

"Stayed here for 3 nights and it was amazing . My daughter and I laughed and danced and swam in the pool . We did however see 2 rattlesnakes and on the last day my daughter saw a scorpion in the pool ….luckily she didnt step on it . We were able to get it with the pool net and toss it over the wall . So please make sure to always check the perimeters and the pool bottom before you enjoy your day ."

"Every year, we take a family trip to this area, and this year, the house and the host absolutely nailed it for us! From the moment you walk in, the house is clean, spacious, and perfectly laid out. Because the pool is located on the east side, you get nice shade by the late afternoon. The theater room with bunk beds was a massive hit with the kids! There is also plenty of dining seating both inside and out. We typically experience a lot of wind in this area, but not at this location. The views are spectacular, all the necessities are provided, and we were even welcomed with a personal note and a box of Crumbl cookies. Communication with the host was instant. Thank you for a great stay and the wonderful memories we made at The Summit."

"We had the BEST stay! We had a multi generational vacation at the Summit and it left us stress free and happy. The house has everything you would want. There were 12 of us and we didnt even need to leave the house. Kitchen is well.stocked with all.your needs. The outdoor spaces were fantastic. The only thing that was a concern for.us is its a multi level home and we have one family member with low mobility. We made it work though!!! Lovely, lovely home! Property managers respond VERY quickly to any needs."

"When we arrived at this house, my group of 8 friends quickly realized we weren't going too do much else - we wanted to hang out at the house. it was a dream place for a group of longtime friends to escape from responsibilities for a few days and reconnect. we sat outside drinking coffee and having breakfast in the morning, snacking, swimming and having a spritz in the afternoon, and ending the night in the hot tub and around the fire pit. we truly cancelled other plans we had because we were just so comfortable, loved cooking in the kitchen, looking at the amazing views and being together. thanks for providing us such an amazing house to reconnect and get a breather from the cold Midwestern winter! I think my seasonal affective disorder may be cured."

"The kiddos jumped into the pool and loved the blowup floaties. The adults loved the hot tub that was sparkling clean after the pool man cleaned the night of our arrival. After the pool and hot tub the kids found the hanging chairs and spent the days spinning away. The pool table was a bit disappointing as it was under the ping pong table and not stable or level. And, one pocket had the leather liner dislodged such that the pocket was unusable. The theater screen was BIG and made for great movie nights! The kitchen was well stocked however, we would have liked plastic juice glasses for breakfast use on the outdoor patio and for the children but, we managed with the 16 & 20 oz. tumblers. And, the nighttime view from the hot tub was great! Overall the house worked great for us."

"This is a fabulous house and the hosts were incredibly accommodating. This was a very last minute rental after a prior rental didn't work out. We were literally able to get into the house within an hour of contacting, several hours earlier than official check-in. Can't thank them enough. The house itself is outstanding, beautiful, private and secluded in the hills above Palm Desert but just a few minutes drive to everything. Great views down into the PS/PD area. There were only 2 of us but house could handle 4-6 people easily. Really couldn't be happier and made the last few days of our stay in the area relaxing and stress-free."

"It's exactly as it looks and then some! We arrived in Palm Springs as 2 families of 4 and 5, kids ages of 14 to 17. We had been to Los Angeles for a week and Las Vegas for a week so this was to be a quiet couple of days for everyone. It had everything we needed, pool. was great, Hot Tub was great, all the games inside to keep the kids occupied were great, kitchen had everything you needed, house super clean and we loved watching a couple of movies on the big screen in the evenings. An amazing place to go, 10 minute drive to all the conveniences you'd ever need we didn't explore much locally as the house had everything we needed and wanted! Highly Recommend."

"Great place, very clean and has great amenities. Responsive host, comprehensive linens and kitchen accessories, everything you need. The only downside is that the dishwasher is hard to get to work, we had to use a spoon to activate it when it was shut and it took us a day to figure that out. Other minor thing is that it appears as though there's a garage to park cars out of the sun, but it's an illusion - that's the theater room, there's no covered parking, which means cars are baking in the hot sun all day. Overall I would stay again, it's a cool house!"

I chose this spot because it looked like it had a lot of amenities because we were hoping not to really leave the house for the majority of our stay. "This house was so amazing! I booked the house for a group of 10 women in our 30's for a bachelorette and it was perfect. We had plenty of room to spread out and we loved the house so much that we didn't even leave. We had our groceries delivered and hired a private chef to take care of us for the the weekend. The house has so many fun unique corners to take photos in or places to just take a nap. We all just ended up relaxing the entire time and felt like royalty. The views were amazing and the beds were so comfortable."

"Looking for an upscale, boho chic feel that’s comfortable for young children as well? We housed 3 adult couples, 3 adults, 2 children, and 1 infant and it was absolutely perfect! We enjoyed the pool, spent time around the outdoor fireplace playing Heads Up, hours in the living room playing Cards Against Humanity, and caught a little Sunday NFL in the theatre room as we prepared to check out. "Everything about our stay was perfect. That doesn’t happen often very often. The house was absolutely incredible and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the theater room was a really cool space as well. All the electronics in the house were easy to use and the pool was crystal clear and a lot of fun. Patio was perfect for entertaining with stunning views, especially in the evening. Our Host, Jen, was extremely communicative, responsive and successful in fulfilling some of our last minute requests. We will only be renting from these wonderful hosts every time we come back to Palm Springs. Thank you for an amazing stay!!"

I am the absolute type A, “read every review” world traveler. If there’s a feature to be included, I’ve looked at five photos to make sure it’s really as described. This house exceeded expectations - the rooms are larger than you think, as clean as a hotel and the entire house smells like new construction. Well-equipped, easy to use- I had an entire weekend of events planned that we ditched to be able to appreciate the house. Thank you for such a memorable weekend and beautiful stay.

We didn’t even get to the pool table, but the music was always on all over the house, ping pong games between kids, adults and kids vs parents, pool Olympics, putting competitions . . . and then we settled down into super-comfortable beds after watching a movie in the bunk room. What a great spot!

"The pictures do not do this property justice! STUNNING! We had an amazing experience renting this home from the start. Jen was prompt to answer any questions we had and made the rental and payment experience seamless, as well as providing us with plenty of information on the area. Check in was super easy as well and management was prompt to check in with us to make sure we were settled in and not in need of anything as well as being available by text if we had questions. The house lent itself nicely to our group, having lots of space to spread out and plenty of toys and things to do. The ONLY negative comment I have was not being apprised of the construction taking place across the street. I know this is out of the owners control but still feel it would have been nice to have been told. Would definitely rent this property again as well as any property represented by this group as I thought they were fantastic."

So much out door space, beautiful views, activities around house awesome (ping pong, pool, table shuffle board) . Location wonderful could get quickly to town , food out, Joshua tree and hiking. "This house exceeded my expectations! It was clean, well stocked and located near restaurants. The large TVs, ping pong table, swimming pool & hot tub were all a big hit with my family. Usually rental houses stock the very minimum in the kitchen but this house had enough pots & pans for us to cook an early Thanksgiving dinner. Plus, plenty of dishes for the 10 of us. The management company was in constant communication to make sure that we were happy. I would highly recommend this house and will hopefully rent it again in the future."

"This place is STUNNING. The views are majestic, the house is beautifully decorated, and the host is gracious and attentive. We truly enjoyed our pandemic getaway here. We wanted a safe and clean place to relax that had enough to do on-site to entertain our four children. This house was perfect for that challenge! The media room became the kids' favorite hang-out zone, while we relaxed or played pool. The doors on the bedrooms are solid, allowing for our little one to take epic naps each afternoon while the rest of us hung out downstairs. In the later afternoons we swam for hours in the pool, which was warm and relaxing. Dinners in the gorgeous dining room were always special, then we enjoyed playing putt-putt, playing pool, or watching TV (nearly every room has one!) to wind out the day. We only got the urge to leave the property once, so we braved the heat to go to the Living Desert, which is gorgeous and less than 10 minutes away. We all had a wonderful time and hope to return!"

The kitchen was stocked with all the tools & appliances that airbnbs don't usually stock (instant pot, baking pans). The 2 fridges & 2 washer/dryer was perfect for our large group. And we absolutely loved the music/sound system throughout the home! Lots of good memories were made here for our 3 day stay. The theatre room was the perfect sleeping spot for my tween daughter and niece. My husband and brother-in-law grilled up dinners and we ate outside under the stars. The outdoor pool area is spacious with room to accommodate a very large group. The bedrooms are good size with three of them having their own full bathroom. Watching the us open golf tournament and the NBA playoffs on the 100” screen in the the theater was amazing. Oh, and the view of the valley and mountains was spectacular. This place is worth the price and I highly recommend it for a large group or family. I'll be going back."

"We vacationed with our adult children and their spouses/boyfriends. Everyone agreed that The Summit is absolutely beautiful and the views are stunning. We spent a lot of time in the gorgeous pool and relaxing in the many sitting areas outdoors. Everyone enjoyed playing pool, ping pong and the putting green. In the evenings we would gather in the movie theater room for a movie. The décor was done to perfection and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The house comes well equipped with everything you need. We made dinner reservations for half of our trip ahead of time and on the other nights, each couple cooked or ordered in food for the group. The dinning room and outdoor dinning area was a perfect place to gather to eat. We recommend The Summit to anyone! We all agreed this was our all-time favorite vacation home!"

"Gorgeous design! Every room is perfectly appointed and in the contemporary style. There are so many little places to hang out -- there are SEVEN swings alone! The furniture is all comfortable and everything seems new. I loved cooking because everything you might need was right there. Second fridge in the laundry room was great for drinks. It was more than our family needed for our covid spring break, but our plan was to just stay at the house and mostly in the pool. We never got bored, or bored of the fantastic view. Whole Foods 5 minutes away but you can get Instacart and restaurant delivery easy. The movie room screen is tremendous! Would totally return."

"We (2 families of 4) just completed a 6 night stay at the Summit. Our thoughts all week were just, Wow! The quality, design and attention to detail are impressive at this house. The location was perfect and views are stunning day & night. The movie room, pool table, ping pong, chess, pool and spa kept the whole group occupied. And the patio with super comfortable furniture provided much needed lounging all day long. The multitude of hanging chairs were perfect for reading a book. The kitchen and grill are well equipped. Internet and Sonos sound system worked well as advertised. We went on regular neighborhood walks and everyone we met was so incredibly friendly. There are a couple of great hikes just a mile back up the 74. Groceries/shopping/restaurants just a few minutes into town. Truly a can’t miss vacation and exactly what our families needed. Thanks also to the TRAVLR team! Communications prior, during and after have been flawless."

The views were AMAZING…I am not a morning person, but I would pop out of bed each morning to have my coffee on the terrace and enjoy the sunrise over the mountains. You also feel very secluded and yet El Paseo shopping/dining was only about a 5-minute drive away. We didn’t want to leave the home, but it was nice to know everything was close by if we wanted to venture out. The movie theater room was super unique and something we enjoyed every night for entertainment. Can’t wait to come back!”
