In the mood to explore the local mountain trails? The Dream House is a central hub to some of the deserts most iconic hiking trails just a stone’s throw away.
For added convenience, this home also features two private washers and dryers. A spacious driveway provides room for up to 5 cars, giving you the freedom to explore the surrounding desert, including Joshua Tree, located less than an hour away. Street parking is not permitted. Oversized vehicles are not permitted.
We want you to feel confident when renting a TRAVLR Vacation Home. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our Guests’ and Employees' health and safety. Currently, we spend between 4-16 working hours to clean each rental property after every reservation and have enhanced our check-out cleaning procedures to pay close attention to all details, specifically disinfecting all surfaces with anti-bacterial solutions. We frequently change all HVAC filters and clean pools twice weekly to help ensure optimal cleanliness as well. Our vendors and staff are equipped with protective gear such as face masks and gloves to maintain the safety of all parties.
Close by is the famous El Paseo and Old Town La Quinta areas with excellent dining and shopping options. If you are looking to play golf, we are minutes from PGA West with three public courses to choose from; The TPC Stadium, The Greg Norman and The Jack Nicklaus Tournament.
Enjoy some of the many world-class events like the Humana Challenge (previously the Bob Hope Classic). Or if you enjoy tennis, minutes away is the home of the BNP Paribas Open Tennis Classic at Indian Wells Top Rated Tennis Stadium, held early to mid-March, with over 300 of the top-rated tennis players in the world. In April comes the Coachella and Stagecoach Music Festivals just minutes down the road hosted at the famous Polo Grounds where you can also enjoy top-ranked polo matches free of charge and have a tailgate picnic with your friends at the same time!

Check in is after 3PM local time, and check out is no later than 11AM. Early check in and late check out may be available for your reservation upon request. Please reach out for the cost and availability.
WILL I NEED TO MEET THE PROPERTY MANAGER TO GET A KEY?
All TRAVLR Vacation Homes have keyless locks. This keyless system allows entry into the vacation rental through the issue of a “code” rather than a physical key. The code changes for every reservation so it is an incredibly safe alternative. By issuing the code prior to arrival, the check-in process is much easier.
DO YOU PROVIDE DAILY CLEANING SERVICE?
TRAVLR Vacation Homes provides a departure clean on all stays. A mid-week or mid-stay clean can be provided for an additional fee.
CAN WE HAVE THE POOL HEATED?
Your reservation "resort fee" includes the cost of pool heat (up to 80-82 degrees). This fee is not included on Airbnb bookings.
WHAT IS PROVIDED WITH MY ACCOMMODATIONS?
All of our vacation rentals are furnished and have a kitchen with amenities including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and blender. Each property is stocked with cooking and serving items including plates, bowls and utensils, as well as a can opener, corkscrew measuring spoons and more. We also offer a spice rack, salt and pepper. The coffee maker uses whole beans.
There are bath towels, pool towels and bed linens. We also provide an initial supply of trash liners, toilet paper, hand soap and dishwasher soap. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner and liquid body wash. Laundry facilities are also equipped with laundry soap and dryer sheets.
CAN I SHIP A PACKAGE TO MY VACATION HOME?
We do not recommend shipping directly to the home, we do not have mailbox keys, and there are many different people with access to the home: vendors, housekeeping, Guest Services staff, etc... so we cannot be responsible for packages once delivered.
DO YOUR HOMES HAVE OUTDOOR MUSIC SYSTEMS?
Yes! The entire property both inside and out is filled with speakers that are setup in different zones so you can enjoy it wherever you are and even have different music playing in different areas. To use, simply download the Sonos app and connect to our Wi-Fi system. You can then control your music from Spotify, Apple Music and more. Due to city regulations though, the outdoor music speakers will not work between the hours of 9PM and 8AM (the indoor ones will though). Please note that bringing your own outdoor speakers is strictly forbidden unless pre-approved by management and could result in a $5000 fine from the city of Palm Desert.

"We had a great stay and really enjoyed the property. The views are absolutely amazing, and the infinity pool was definitely one of the highlights. The house is very spacious, modern, and well designed, with especially nice updated bathrooms.
The kids had a blast in the entertainment area with the pool table, foosball, and Pop-A-Shot, which gave them plenty to do throughout the stay. There are also TVs throughout the house, which was perfect for our group since we were there during football season and could have the games on while everyone hung out.
The host was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. Overall, it’s a beautiful property with tons of space for families and groups, an incredible outdoor area, and one of the best views we’ve had at a rental. We would definitely recommend it!"

It’s private, quiet, right next to Big Horn and only a 10 minute drive to all the shops & restaurants on El Paseo. On our second day we had the magical and rare experience of seeing an entire herd of big horn sheep, including a newborn baby, frolicking around the property!! Absolutely priceless experience. The only issue we had was finding the property. The location was not listed on Apple or Google maps, however, the host was highly responsive and talked us through the directions until we arrived safely. Thank you!!"

"This house is GORGEOUS! The views over Palm Desert are amazing with epic sunrises and sunsets each day. It’s a little off the path but that’s what also makes it secluded, quiet and completely unique. The rooms were all great size and accommodated our large group. Lots of common space to share and great amenities. We had a couple small annoyances (beeping smoke detector and clanging water heater), but Jen responded instantly to my texts and had someone out to fix the issues within an hour, so it was really no hassle at all. Highly recommend this house!"

"We stayed at this beautiful house on the hill for my mom’s 75th birthday! The views were breathtaking and the house was stunning. The game room kept us busy when it was to hot too go outside. The pool was nice and warm with a beautiful view. Every room was very clean and big and open. The kitchen had everything you need but I did need to YouTube how to use to microwave/oven and stove top. After a day I got the hang of it. The host was very responsive when I needed assistance. I would absolutely stay here again. Thanks again for everything."

"the property might be a little hard to find at first, if you're not familiar with Bighorn development area(as I was not familiar myself). but it was simple enough to figure out my initial mistake in following my map. the house presents itself perfectly, and stunningly! simple access instructions to enter the house, and I was met with a beautifully kept, clean house with insane views of the desert valley floor below! beds were comfortable, kitchen included everything you need, pool/spa were working and clean, everything was literally perfect! my VRBO handlers were super easy to communicate with, and had instant responses and replies to any questions I had. ill certainly look to them again next year for Coachella Music Festival properties."

"Wonderful getaway house The Dream House was really a dream. The view is magnificent with sight of the valley and the mountains beyond. The outdoor space is well furnished, clean and pleasant. The house itself is very clean, spacious with well appointed bedrooms. The 4 bedrooms are big and really feel like a home, not like a rental. The beds are comfortable and all the bathrooms are new and well maintained. There's an entertaining area which is great for kids and adults alike with a foosball table, pool table, gym, arcade and basketball type of game. We had issues with the pool heater and Jen was extremely responsive about it. She always answered promptly to our messages and acted accordingly. We really recommend this home for a friend getaway or a family vacation. You won't be disappointed."

The place was pretty high-tech so some appliances were hard to work, but they have a handbook where they describe how to work all of the appliances, & had rules and recommendations. We felt very safe and the host communicated amazingly. We accidentally set off an alarm in the middle of the night and the host was extremely responsive and helpful. We loved it so much that when others from our party went for an outing to the zoo, we opted to stay at the house to enjoy all it had to offer. We loved that the entire wall-to-wall glass facing the view opened with a push of a button to create a true indoor-outdoor living space. We spent most of our time at the lovely pool & spa, cocktails in hand. The pool was gorgeous, clean, had a large baja shelf; there were ample lounge chairs and umbrellas for shade. We enjoyed most of our meals at the covered outdoor dining table. On the other side of the living space there's an awesome game room/gym/bar area for intermittent breaks from the pool/sun. The gym area even has a Peloton! The kids enjoyed the game room, especially the arcade machine that had every game we could think of on it. The kitchen is beautiful and fully equipped with everything we needed. The coffee/espresso machine was a Jura which made a delicious cup of coffee straight from whole beans. We also used the well-equipped outdoor kitchen (again, with awesome views) to BBQ some steaks and chicken. The huge master bedroom is INSANE, with it's own outdoor deck, breathtaking views, huge bathroom and walk-in closet! We stayed in one of the other bedrooms, which all have en-suite bathrooms with the softest towels I've ever felt, large showers, high-end products and a true spa-like feel. The beds were incredibly comfortable (from mattresses to bedding), which is often an afterthought but so important on vacation - we all slept so well! We'll definitely be back - in fact, just last night, my husband and I were looking at dates to return with some friends in the coming months. Can't wait!"

"We stayed at the dream house with some couple friends and our kids and didn't leave the property! There is no need to with the abundance of activities offered at the house. Our kids (8F and 6M) had an incredible time swimming, shooting hoops on Pop-a-Shot, playing video games (they have a machine with 1,000s of games on it), chasing and catching lizards and of course a vast majority of the time, swimming in the luxurious pool and hot tub. We had pizza delivered one night (which came quickly and easily, which was a concern of ours because the house is so private and high on the hill) and they arranged for a private chef the other night which was affordable and delicious. The house has stunning views from every room. My wife and I spent a majority of our time lounging in the pool with a cocktail. All the bedrooms have incredible views and the master is comically large and insane - views, massive bathroom, sitting room, lounge area, etc. The entire first floor is perfectly balanced with the living area on the view/pool side and the game room/bar on the mountain side. We enjoyed the game room a lot. Played pool, basketball and even got the ping pong table out to smoke my buddy a few times. Spent the evenings in the hot tub and by the pool listening to nature sounds and relaxing. We will 1,000 percent go back. This is an incredible house that truly stands out as one of the nicest I've ever stayed at."

All the amenities necessary to not have to leave the house was provided. Some of the more unexpected treats was the Sauna, The peloton in the Master bedroom, overhead showers in every bathroom, and the amount of activities available for entertaining. The option to call a personal chief was provided. There was state of the art EVERYTHING for which instructions were provided. There was a variety of entertainment and if that was not enough you could always go for a swim or relax in the jacuzzi. I appreciated not having to forgo my workouts. Although, I did not work out, the option was there and that made me feel good! Lol My children, all girls, ages 5, 8, and 12 had a ball. They mostly enjoyed the pool. That being said, I would not recommend this place for people with small children if you cannot keep very close watch on them or if they cannot swim. We kept them down stairs when we were down stairs and they pretty much put themselves to bed after swimming most of day. It was very easy to respect the quiet rules after 9pm as lowering the music and the lighting at this time made for a more relaxing atmosphere. This is NOT the place to go if you want to party! This is a relaxing, rejuvenating, taking in the views kind of get away! The house was just as stated in the name, “A Dream!”
